Photo Editing
To start off, I worked wanted to work on a little photo editing with one of the pictures I took from the UNPHASED Photoshoot. I picked this picture in particular to tell a story and I basically edited the photo to become my Magazine Cover.
My first editing procedure was to change the saturation on the grass to make the greens more vivid, and the hue in the sky's to make the blue's more vibrant. This change allows the picture overall to emphasize the nature around AJ and the beautiful scenery he's surrounded by.
My next step on photo editing was the cover title, I made the title use Century Gothic font and put my own spin on the AGE OF DECADENCE logo for this specific issue of the magazine to fit the main issue of the magazine that's covering UNPHASED. I made the photo cover standalone in Photoshop by creating a blank new Photoshop document and edited the text and made the shadow on the text more dark and increased the size of the shadow a tad.
To give this issue a sense of isolation from the others I gave the title sad faces in the O of the word OF in the title, also on the top right side of the title. I googled the sad faces and used the magic wand to take out any white spaces that would interfere with entering the O, transformed it to fit the size of the O and placed it in perfectly.
