Photo Shoot Planning

      To start off,  I was thinking of going to Little Havana for my photo shoot. Little Havana is a place thriving with Cuban culture and the youth walking around and causing trouble. In Little Havana there is a lot of graffiti and I wanted to do a story on the graffiti of Dwayne Wade outside the shop of Primo's Smoke Shop, I want to take a picture of it and write about whys and the whats about it.
      Additionally, I'm also planning on taking pictures of this Presidente grocery store that has a picture of all the people that have been caught stealing, while in the act since this helps to provide an article for a local grocery store and what methods they implemented to deter further criminals. This also helps with targeting towards my audience since my magazine is called Age of Decadence and targets towards adults who want to see how our society and culture is dying; nonetheless, I also will have in my magazine a few instances where people are helping out our culture and society, like AJ Galeri for instance.
     For instance, I plan on taking a photo shoot with AJ Galeri, the owner of UNPHASED. He is a classmate of mine that began his clothing brand a year ago and needed help taking pictures of his brand to put on the website. I plan on taking pictures of the brand to make an article about him to get his brand more recognized. 
       Also, the great thing about AJ is that he's working to help the society and culture by creating clothing brand and working on it and wants the best for all kids around him. He made a custom designed hoodie for a friend of mine and does special discounts sometimes if you're struggling financially. AJ is a great example of how being young doesn't stop anyone from making a change.

Magazine Cover       For my Magazine Cover, I took a picture of AJ (Owner of UNPHASED) as the cover from the bottom of the stairs to show how he is at the bottom of his career and is slowly making his way to the top. Additionally, I used VICE as a base for my magazine since i'm a fan of their magazine and the way they format it. They have a simple cover with just their normal title with bizarre cover pictures like my cover showing a random teenager with purple camouflage pants, who could this be? Moreover, there is a direct mode of address at the bottom left to let the reader know what the main cover issue will be about. Photo Editing

Photo Editing        To start off, I worked wanted to work on a little photo editing with one of the pictures I took from the UNPHASED Photoshoot. I picked this picture in particular to tell a story and I basically edited the photo to become my Magazine Cover.       My first editing procedure was to change the saturation on the grass to make the greens more vivid, and the hue in the sky's to make the blue's more vibrant. This change allows the picture overall to emphasize the nature around AJ and the beautiful scenery he's surrounded by.      My next step on photo editing was the cover title, I made the title use Century Gothic font and put my own spin on the AGE OF DECADENCE logo for this specific issue of the magazine to fit the main issue of the magazine that's covering UNPHASED.
