Fonts + Content For Magazine table of contents Planning

My font for my table of contents will be Trebuchet. 

I pick Trebuchet because it's a simple but effective font that catches peoples eyes from being so easy to read from afar or close. Perfect font for the audience of my magazine that are easily attached once their attention is caught. 
            I am also using easy attention grabbing pictures to grab my audience in the table of contents to give a glimpse of an issue that's a hot topic. Vice does a great job at this because they usually give an eye grabbing picture in the table of contents to let the reader get a glimpse of the article just from reading the title in the beginning to possibly flip to the page that the article they have the most interest in is in. But it doesn't stop there, these aren't just normal pictures, these will be gnarly, bizarre pictures that are out of the norm that attracts that younger crowd to shock. The normal Trebuchet text helps attract the younger crowd since it's a bland but easy to look at font that anyone can read from far and close.

Magazine Cover       For my Magazine Cover, I took a picture of AJ (Owner of UNPHASED) as the cover from the bottom of the stairs to show how he is at the bottom of his career and is slowly making his way to the top. Additionally, I used VICE as a base for my magazine since i'm a fan of their magazine and the way they format it. They have a simple cover with just their normal title with bizarre cover pictures like my cover showing a random teenager with purple camouflage pants, who could this be? Moreover, there is a direct mode of address at the bottom left to let the reader know what the main cover issue will be about. Photo Editing

Photo Editing        To start off, I worked wanted to work on a little photo editing with one of the pictures I took from the UNPHASED Photoshoot. I picked this picture in particular to tell a story and I basically edited the photo to become my Magazine Cover.       My first editing procedure was to change the saturation on the grass to make the greens more vivid, and the hue in the sky's to make the blue's more vibrant. This change allows the picture overall to emphasize the nature around AJ and the beautiful scenery he's surrounded by.      My next step on photo editing was the cover title, I made the title use Century Gothic font and put my own spin on the AGE OF DECADENCE logo for this specific issue of the magazine to fit the main issue of the magazine that's covering UNPHASED. Photo Shoot Planning

Photo Shoot Planning       To start off,  I was thinking of going to Little Havana for my photo shoot. Little Havana is a place thriving with Cuban culture and the youth walking around and causing trouble. In Little Havana there is a lot of graffiti and I wanted to do a story on the graffiti of Dwayne Wade outside the shop of Primo's Smoke Shop, I want to take a picture of it and write about whys and the whats about it.       Additionally, I'm also planning on taking pictures of this Presidente grocery store that has a picture of all the people that have been caught stealing, while in the act since this helps to provide an article for a local grocery store and what methods they implemented to deter further criminals.
