Photo Shoot And Reflection UNPHASED
Photo Shoot
UNPHASED
These pictures here showcase Anthony Galeri's company that he's started called UNPHASED. Anthony Galeri goes by the name AJ, he's a student in my school who designs his own quirky clothing brand. I dabble in a bit of photography from time to time and did a photo shoot with AJ for his clothing brand.
Furthermore, Him and I went to a local construction spot and took a surplus of pictures; however, came out the best.
Afterwards, while I was taking photos of AJ I was also asking him a couple questions about his brand. I asked him "What exactly is UNPHASED? Why did you start the brand?" He chuckled and said "Well UNPHASED just really means you're not phased by anything, nothing gets to you, you're always at a level head and don't let anything get to you whether it's big or small. And I was going through a rough time just getting stabbed in the back by some close friends and lost a girlfriend. So I just was spending a lot of time designing and drawing random artwork I thought was dope and decided to release it onto clothes for everyone to wear and spread my creativity and ideas."
I was amazed at how he was able to just turn such a horrible moment in his life to something productive all while so young at the age of 15. I quickly replied with "Where do you see yourself in 10 years?"
He pointed at a plane passing by and said "I see myself like that plane right there, I see myself going places for sure, hopefully with my brand. I see myself trying to expand my brand as much as I can and getting it out there as much as I can to people who love my designs."
Now AJ is working on his new release of clothes in the next month and is working on a video for UNPHASED to put on his website.
Ultimately, I got a lot out of this photo shoot because not only did I get to hang around one of the sickest dudes ever but I also learned that photos should ultimately tell a story. Someone should be able to look at a picture of what you took and know give or take what had happened. The better the picture is, the easier it is for someone to know whats going on in a picture. The picture has to evoke a sense of not being annoyed or disturbed by anything around you.
